Wooden received a bachelor's degree from Albion College and a bachelor's degree in the physician assistant program from Western Michigan University. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a Certified Diabetes Educator. Wooden joined Marshall Internal and Family Medicine in 1994.
