Russell graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, she worked as an emergency room nurse for 15 years and also as a paramedic. Russell is certified by the national Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She joined the staff at South Central Ear, Nose and Throat in 2005 as a physician assistant.
