On March 13, 2010, Oaklawn Hospital will be having it's 20th Annual Benefit Auction. The success of the Auction goes to all involved--the donors of goods and services and great "stuff", the auction attendees, auction buyers, the volunteers and hospital staff. Through our combined efforts over the years, over one million dollars has been generated and used to purchase clinical equipment for direct patient care and charity care that benefits so many people.

Memorial gifts are made to honor the memory of a person who has died, and to express sympathy and consolation to the family. The family of the deceased will be promptly notified of your thoughtful gesture with a letter, which does not disclose the amount of the gift. The donor will receive a written acknowledgement as well. All memorial donations, unless requested otherwise, are listed in our donor recognition mailings.

Honorary or tribute gifts are made to honor a living individual by making a gift to the hospital in his or her honor or name. They may be given to mark a special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary, birth, promotion, retirement, or simply to express gratitude. 

The person being honored will be promptly notified of the thoughtful gesture with a letter which does not disclose the amount of the gift. The donor will receive an acknowlegement as well. All honorary donations, unless requested otherwise, are listed in our donor recognition mailings.
