Dr. Machalka earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and his medical degree from Loyola University in Chicago. He completed a family practice residency at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie, Penn. and an obstetrics fellowship at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Tex. He joined Oaklawn's active staff in November 2004.
