Oaklawn Hospital’s first annual “Hearts for Hospice” Tour of Tables benefiting Oaklawn Hospice will be held at the Battle Creek Country Club on Friday, July 30.

The Tour-of-Tables is a dinner event with tables that are decorated and set according to a theme by a host who invites guests to their table and/or sells tickets to their guests. John Sims, Jr., event Co-Chair says,  “People also have the option of just sponsoring a table and having someone else decorating.”  

Themes can be inspired by your dishes, a favorite holiday, sports team, or just about anything. “The key is to be creative and use your imagination,” added Sims.  Guests can “Tour” the tables and will be served a delicious dinner served by your table hosts, sponsors or hospice volunteers.

The event will raise funds for Oaklawn Hospice, which provides a comprehensive healthcare program to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs of persons with life-limiting conditions and their families. 

The tour will begin at 6:00 p.m. with dinner served at 7:30 p.m.  Live entertainment will be provided by the blues band “Crossroads.” All proceeds will go directly to support Oaklawn Hospice Services.
